Using an in silico approach simple sequence repeats (SSR)
were identified using sequences from N.benthamiana Gene Indices. SSRs are defined as at least repeats of 10 mononucleotides, 6 dinucleotides, 5 trinucleotides, 5 tetranucleotides, 5 pentanucleotides, and 5 hexanucleotides. An overview of the approach can be found here and a summary of the results here.
