Policy on use of Aspergillus clavatus sequence information
The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR) release data to ensure that our scientific
colleagues have access to information that may assist them in the search
for genes and their biological function. Data releases do not constitute
scientific publication, but rather provide investigators with information
that may "jump-start" biological experimentation. Users of this
information are encouraged to share their results with TIGR in order to
improve annotation of the sequence data.
TIGR asks that you acknowledge the source of information obtained from
this site in any publication by including the following sentence in both
the Materials and Methods and Acknowledgement sections: "Preliminary
sequence data was obtained from The Institute for Genomic Research
website at http://www.tigr.org." Also include the following text in the
Acknowledgements: "Sequencing of Aspergillus clavatus was funded by the
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) to
William C. Nierman."
TIGR plan on publishing the completed and annotated
sequences in a peer-reviewed journal as soon as possible. Permission of
the principal investigators should be obtained before publishing analyses
of the sequence/open reading frames/genes on a chromosome or genome
scale. Contact Bill Nierman
(wnierman@tigr.org).
