TIGR Clone Distribution Policy
- All clones from completed and published genomes as well as human and rat EST clones are made available through the ATCC. The minimal clone set is identified and prepared upon completion of the sequencing project. The clones are sent to the ATCC after the data is published by TIGR.
- Clones deposited at the ATCC are distributed only through the ATCC, phone 1-800-638-6597, Fax 1-800-638-6597. No direct requests are filled by TIGR
- Clones will be verified by resequencing only when requested through the ATCC in accordance with the ATCC/TIGR agreement.
- Clones from unpublished genomes will not be distributed except if requested by the formal sequencing collaborators on the project.
- Human BAC clones are distributed through Research Genetics (1-800-533-4363) and are not verified or distributed by TIGR.
