Bacillus anthracis Porton Ames Genome Sequence
The Bacillus anthracis Porton Ames isolate (pXO1-, pXO2-) was
sequenced at the Institute for Genomic Research in 1999-2003.
This data release includes:
(i) the complete sequence of the main chromosome
(ii) the set of individual sequences that were used to create
those contigs
(iii) the comparative genomic hybridization data
(iv) a file containing the quality values for each individual sequence
The complete sequence representing the main chromosome has been
deposited with GenBank (accession AE016879)
Shotgun electropherogram traces were deposited in the NCBI
Trace Archive
The comparative genomic hybridization data can be accessed at the
National Center for Biotechnology
Information Gene Omnibus Expression site under the data series
GSE341.
